On the My 600-lb Life episode “One Ton Family: Part 1,” viewers meet the Perrio siblings — brother Clarence and his two sister Brandie and Roshanda. Together they weigh more than 1,000 lbs., and together (brother Clarence is the most mobile) they travel to meet gastric bypass surgeon Dr. Nowzaradan in Houston, Texas.
Like so many of Dr. Now’s patients, the Perrio family is haunted by a past tragedy that gets in their way of recovery. It’s a heartbreaking story. But according to Clarence’s Facebook page, he’s keeping to the seasoned water diet and in due time he’ll find himself “lucked up!” New episodes of My 600-lb Life air Wednesdays at 8pm on TLC.
