In the Bar Rescue Season 5 episode “Mother Doesn’t Know Best,” Jon Taffer travels to Las Vegas to meet Corinne Vaughn, the owner of Jack’s Place. The dive bar was originally owned by state senator Jack Regan. Corinne was a bartender at Jack’s in the late 1990s. When Jack retired, Corinne took over in 2008. When Taffer arrived at Jack’s Place, he found the staff acting up and being disrespectful to Corinne who acted more like a mother figure than a boss. With Jack’s Place facing a debt of $500,000, Taffer helped Corinne to renovate and re-brand the bar as The Regan Lounge.

Seven months after the episode aired, in July 2017 there was a fire at The Regan Lounge which caused an estimated $500,000 in damage. Luckily there were no injures but the fire forced the bar to close. See post-fire photo below. Reruns of Bar Rescue air Sunday nights from 6pm to 12 midnight on Paramount Network.
