In the Criminal Minds episode “Ex Parte,” the BAU takes charge of a hostage situation at a law firm in downtown Washington, D.C. Turns out to be the same firm where Matt Simmons’ (Daniel Henney) wife, Kristy, works. Kristy is portrayed by Kelly Frye. Frye played Kristy on the spin-off Criminal Minds: Beyond Borders, too.
Kelly Frye is also known for her roles on Teachers (Gina Meyers), The Young and the Restless (Michelle Hazleton), General Hospital (Ivy), The Flash (Bette Sans Souci aka Plastique), Anger Management (Kayla), and Rake with Greg Kinnear (Cindy Beck), among others. Criminal Minds airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CBS.
