The cameras of My 600-lb Life follow Bettie Jo Elmore, a 654-lb. woman who learns that she’s pregnant. While the 26-year-old always dreamed of having children with her husband Josh, she’s now worried if she’ll be able to deliver the baby without complications. Bettie Jo says what excites her most about having children of her own is starting her own traditions with them. Bettie Jo is lucky to have such a supportive and loving husband. He recently surprised her with a birthday party in a park. They’ve been together since 2006.
Despite losing more than 200 pounds after the weight loss surgery performed by Dr. Now in Houston, Betti Jo did have a complicated pregnancy. She had a large bone mass on her spine while pregnant with her son. It was difficult but Bettie Jo did give birth to a health boy, Preston Isaish Linn Elmore on August 10, 2016. He was 5lbs. 7oz, and 19 inches long. My 600-lb Life airs Wednesdays at 8pm on TLC.
