In the Blindspot episode “Two Legendary Chums,” while Zapata (Audrey Esparza) interrogates Jane’s teenage daughter Avery (Kristina Reyes), Weller (Sullivan Stapleton) reunites with his former FBI partner Don Shipley. They work together on a dangerous undercover mission which leads them into the woods.
Don Shipley is portrayed by Darren Goldstein. He’s known for his roles on The Affair (Oscar Hodges), Person of Interest (Brent Tomlinson), American Odyssey (Joe Abrams), and Damages (Chris Sharp), among others. Goldstein will appear next in the TV movie Paterno about the late, legendary Penn State football coach who was embroiled in the Jerry Sandusky sex abuse scandal. Al Pacino plays Paterno. Goldstein plays whistleblower Mike McQueary, former Penn State assistant coach. Blindspot airs Fridays at 8pm on NBC.
