In the Lifetime Movie Her Stolen Past, medical student Sonya Daniels returns home for her mother’s funeral. Her mother was attacked and killed in a parking lot. Police says she was “just at the wrong place at the wrong time.” But at her mother’s home, Sonya finds the birth certificate of a kidnapped baby (a girl who’s been missing for more than 20 years) in a closet. Now Sonya has two mysteries to solve (which, yes, are related). The movie is based on Lynette Eason’s Harlequin novel Her Stolen Past.
