In The Blacklist episode “Mr. Raleigh Sinclair III,” Red (James Spader) helps the Task Force track down Blacklister Mr. Raleigh Sinclair III, a man who is a pro at developing airtight alibis for his murderous clients. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) needs to see psychotherapist Dr. Sharon Fulton in order be reinstated at the FBI. When asked why she wants to be reinstated, Liz says, ‘To find my husband’s killer.” The doctor goes on to prod Liz with questions like “Does the desire for revenge come naturally to you?”
Dr. Sharon Fulton is portrayed by Martha Plimpton. She’s known for her roles on The Real O’Neals (Eileen O’Neal), Raising Hope (Virginia Chance), The Good Wife (Patti Nyhom, for which she won an Emmy), and in films including Beautiful Girls (Jan), Running on Empty with River Phoenix, Parenthood (Julie), and The Goonies (Stef), among many others. Fun fact: She is the daughter of Oscar winner Keith Carradine, who currently plays the POTUS on Madam Secretary). She also sings! (see photo below). The Blacklist airs Wednesdays at 8pm on NBC, right before Law & Order: Special Victims Unit.
