In the Blue Bloods episode “Second Chances,” a female journalist disappears while working on an exposé about Ethan Goodwin, an innocent man serving time for murder. NYPD detectives Danny (Donnie Wahlberg) and Baez (Maria Ramirez) are on the case. They hope that reexamining the original case will help them find her.
Ethan Goodwin is portrayed by Roscoe Orman. He’s best known for his role as Gordon on Sesame Street. He’s been playing the affable neighbor since 1974! Fun fact: Gordon made his acting debut on a 1970 episode of All My Children as Tyrone. And he starred in the 1974 film Willie Dynamite (see link above). It’s about a social worker who tries to change the ways of Willie, who’s a pimp. Orman will appear next on the big screen in the comedy All These Small Moments with Molly Ringwald. Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS, right after Hawaii Five-0.
