In the Law & Order: Special Victims Unit episode “Info Wars,” female conservative pundit Martha Cobb is assaulted during a protest. When Detective Olivia Benson (Mariska Hargitay) speaks with Cobb, she’s as tough as nails and says she doesn’t want to be treated with kid gloves. Benson and and D.A. Barba (Raúl Esparza) struggle to put their political beliefs aside in order to help bring the attacker to justice. There’s a chance that the extreme commentator has made a false accusation for political reasons.
