In the Family Guy episode “Crimes and Meg’s Demeanor,” Peter encourages his teenage daughter Meg to go to a high-school party. She ends up drinking alcohol which makes Peter both happy and sad. Meanwhile, Brian spies on the neighbors and might regret letting his binoculars fall upon James Woods High School’s Principal Shepherd.
Principal Shepherd is voiced by Gary Cole. Cole is known for his roles on CBS’s smash-hit series The Good Wife (Diane Lockhart’s husband Kurt McVeigh, see photo below), Veep (Kent Davison), Suits (Cameron Dennis), Entourage (Andrew Klein), and Midnight Caller (Jack “Nighthawk” Killian), among others. Cole is also well recognized for his roles in the films Pineapple Express (Ted Jones), Talladega Nights (Will Ferrell’s dad Reese Bobby), and Office Space.
