In the Blue Bloods episode “Heavy Is the Head,” the Reagans have their hands full with two big cases. Officer Jamie Reagan (Will Estes) and his partner Eddie Janko (Vanessa Ray) ask Erin Reagan (Bridget Moynahan) to drop old charges against a man who rescued a woman from a hostage situation. Meanwhile, Detective Danny Reagan (Donnie Wahlberg) and his partner Maria Baez (Marisa Ramirez) run into mobster Victor Lugo. Turns out Lugo is leading a pack of car thieves.
Victor Lugo is portrayed by Nick Cordero. The Canadian-born actor is known for his roles on Broadway. He played Dennis in Rock of Ages (on Broadway in 2012 and on tour). In 2014 he played Cheech in the musical Bullets Over Broadway, for which he was nominated for a Tony Award. Cordero most recently played Earl in Waitress, and Sonny in A Bronx Tale. Fun fact about Cordero: He just got married to fitness trainer Amanda Kloots (see photo below). Blue Bloods airs Fridays at 10pm on CBS.
