In the Below Deck episode “The Champagne Campaign,” Captain Lee Rosbach gathers the crew to talk numbers. For this particular charter on Valor, they made $30,000 in tips. Everyone is shocked. (That’s a lot.) When they add that $30k to the pot, the crew has made a total of $168,000 for the season. Captain Lee says that’s a record. Btw, that boils down to $2720 per person. Deckhand Kyle Dixon says, “That’s a lot of money.”
When Lee starts throwing wads of money to the individual members of his crew, he tells Senior Deckhand Nico Scholly, “Good job this season, Nico. Thank you.” When he gives a wad to Deckhand Bruno Duarte, Lee tells him to buy some band-aids. Of course the crew is ready to celebrate; they take a hike and watch the sunset with champagne. Below Deck airs Tuesdays at 9pm on Bravo.
