The Lifetime movie Wrapped Up in Christmas is about mall manager Heather Nash (Tatyana Ali). The young single working woman usually loves the holidays, but this year she feels like the Grinch. Heather is forced to close a number of stores that are struggling in the mall. The good news is Heather falls for a handsome guy named Ryan (Brendan Fehr) who is a super romantic. Unbeknownst to Heather, he’s playing the Santa in the mall and is trying to help his Aunt Patty (Cindy Pickett) keep her store open!
Heather gets a lot of support from her sister (Kim Fields) and her mother Elise who is portrayed by Jasmine Guy. Jasmine Guy known for her roles on The Vampire Diaries (Sheila “Grams” Bennett), The Quad (Grace Caldwell), K.C. Undercover (Erica Martin), If Loving You Is Wrong (Mattaline), Dead Like Me (Roxy Harvey), and A Different World (Whitley Gilbert), among others. Fun fact: Guy made her acting debut on the 1982 TV series Fame (as a dancer). She also appeared in the films Harlem Nights (Dominique La Rue) and School Daze (Dina). Wrapped Up In Christmas premieres on Lifetime on Saturday, November 25 at 8pm.
