Karli Webster’s Blind Audition on The Voice, Season 13 was a memorable one. Not only did she kill the Carly Simon song “You’re So Vain” but she also revealed that she’s named after Carly Simon! After losing the Knockout Round against Janice Freeman (who’s still on Team Miley looking for a spot on the Top 12), Karli is getting another chance on The Voice as a comeback singer on Team Miley.

For the Playoffs, Karli is singing the moving 1971 Dolly Parton song “Coat of Many Colors.” Parton has said it is her favorite song that she’s written. It’s about growing up in poverty “but thinking I was rich” due to the love she received from her mother who made her that coat of many colors. They even made a TV movie called Coat of Many Colors, starring Dolly. It was a smash, of course. Note: Dolly Parton is godmother to Karli’s coach Miley Cyrus. The Voice airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
