On The Big Bang Theory episode “The Geology Methodology,” geologist Bert (Brian Posehn) asks Sheldon (Jim Parsons) to collaborate on a research project. While Sheldon says thanks but no thanks (he doesn’t consider “playing with rocks” as real science), Koothrappali (Kunal Nayyar) has a heart-to-heart with Penny (Kaley Cuoco) about his love life. He tells Penny that Ruchi (guest star Swati Kapila) wants to “keep things casual.” Penny, who’s wearing an adorable set of folded ponytails on top of her head reminiscent of Mickey Mouse ears, makes a facial expression (and sound) of disbelief.

Penny advises Koothrappali to “give her [Ruchi] some space.” But Koothrappali can’t imagine not calling or texting Ruchi especially if he sees a sunset that reminds him of her. Aww! Note: Kaley isn’t the only one wearing her hair high on TV these days. Dancing with the Stars celebrity contender Lindsey Stirling favors the look too! The Big Bang Theory airs Thursdays at 8pm on CBS.
