Janice Freeman was one of the first singers to perform on The Voice‘s Blind Auditions on Season 13, and we’re still rooting for her. After her “Radioactive” audition and joining Team Miley, she killed “I’m Goin’ Down” and “W.O.M.A.N.” during the Battle Round. Now Janice is one of the six artists left on Team Miley. For the Playoffs (only 3 will advance to the Top 12), Janice will sing “Fall For You,” as only Janice can do.

“Fall For You” was written by neo-soul singer Leela James. The hit is on her fifth studio album of the same name which was released in 2014. It’s a simple piano arrangement that lets James’ lyrics and voice shine. It’s one of those sad songs that also makes you feel happy at the same time. A tearjerker for sure. Whether your tears are tears of joy or pain is up to you. Or maybe it’s up to Janice Freeman. The Voice airs Wednesdays at 9pm on NBC.
