The “knockout rounds” continue on The Voice, Season 13 with coaches Miley Cyrus, Jennifer Hudson, Adam Levine and Blake Shelton. Jennifer Hudson and key advisor Kelly Clarkson have been working with singers Chris Weaver and Katrina Rose. Chris selected the classic Jay Hawkins song “I’ve Put a Spell on You,” and Katrina chose The Cranberries’ 1994 hit “Zombie.”
Chris steps on the stage first and delivers a powerful cover, and his voice has never sounded better. At the end of the performance, all four judges give Chris a standing ovation. It’s a tough act to follow. The beginning of Katrina’s Zombie cover is delicate and then she reaches for those big loud notes. It’s going to be a difficult decision for JHud. The Voice airs Mondays at 8pm on NBC. Related: Chris Weaver Reveals His “Transformation” Before ‘The Voice’ [PHOTOS]
