Ignatious Carmouche is the 23-year-old singer from Houston, Texas who is competing on The Voice, Season 13. For his Blind Audition he sings the song “Latch” by Disclosure featuring Sam Smith, and joins Jennifer Hudson’s team.

Ignatious is last season’s “The Voice on Snapchat” winner. Out of 20,000 submissions, his video of him singing the Maxwell song “Pretty Wings” got him a slot to audition this season. He’s come a long way from being a shy kid, singing in church. He was so shy, he would sing with his back toward the congregation. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
