Moriah Formica is the 16-year-old singer/guitarist competing on The Voice. For her Blind Audition, she sang and perform the Heart song “Crazy on You.” Voice coach Miley Cyrus was the first to turn around. The other three — Blake Shelton, Adam Levine and Jennifer Hudson soon followed.
Cyrus tells Moriah, “When I turned around, I had a feeling that your voice was going to be much bigger than you were going to be.” And it’s so true. Shelton makes a joke about how big her guitar appears, and Levine calls her “a pint sized powerhouse.” He adds, “Heart’s getting old, man. There’s going to be an opening soon. You could be in that band.” The Voice airs Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
