It’s Battle Round time on The Voice, Season 13. In the rehearsal studio, Jennifer Hudson works with two of her artists – 26-year-old Stephan Marcellus from Englewood, New Jersey and 15-year-old Shi’Ann Jones from Kentucky. Hudson asked fellow diva Kelly Rowland, founding member of Destiny’s Child with Beyonce, to help as a guest coach.
During The Voice rehearsal, the four-time Grammy Award winner Rowland (who’s wearing a cute Good Vibes t-shirt) falls on her knees to instruct Stephan, to tell him what he should be feeling when he sings the song — “You’re desperate, you’re begging,” she pleads. The moment comes at the :40 mark in the video below. The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays at 8pm on NBC.
