Harvey Weinstein’s Hollywood career has been legendary like his outsider predecessor Robert Evans, who wrote The Kid Stays in the Picture. Weinstein founded Miramax and the The Weinstein Company, and along the way he solved the puzzle of getting Academy Award nominations like it was his own personal Rubik’s Cube. Weinstein had power and money and ambition and all the other qualities too that American society reveres. But the latest news reveals that one thing Weinstein didn’t have was a great deal of self-control around women. Weinstein reportedly has settled multiple cases of sexual harassment over his career, and more are likely forthcoming. Some stories are directly related to his work with actresses, including one that accuses Weinstein of inappropriate behavior with actress Ashley Judd.
Weinstein knows almost everybody in the business, and with more than 300 producing credits, he’s worked with almost everyone too. Here is a list of the leading actresses in Weinstein’s 15 films that were nominated for Best Picture Academy Awards.
