Celebrity chef Jose Andres is trolling (instructing?) President Trump from a boots-on-the-ground position in Puerto Rico after the Hurricane Maria devastation. Andres, who was sued by Trump after he decided not to open a restaurant as planned in Trump’s new DC hotel, is telling the president what he should do in Puerto Rico — while also praising the relief effort and the citizens of Puerto Rico.
If I was .@realDonaldTrump I will praise in a tweet the thousands of volunteers organizing on their own to contribute to the efforts pic.twitter.com/tuluT8hLDC

Trump’s tweets on Puerto Rico have blamed the leadership of the US territory for a poor effort, while saying they “want everything done for them.” But Andres is telling a more inspiring story about how Puerto Ricans are reacting to their challenges — heroically. Among other helpful instructions, Andres is telling the president to send gas for trucks so that the two working bakeries can deliver food to the islanders. Andres is also giving credit to the Department of Defense’s and FEMA’s recovery efforts. Below those tweets are more like the one above, aimed at Trump with suggestions.
Thank you the men and women of @fema because I know you have a plan and you are trying to deliver help as fast as you can.#PuertoRicoRelief
