The Season 3 premiere of Eric & Jessie: Game On follows country singer Jessie James Decker as she has lunch with her sister Sydney Rae Bass. Syd is pregnant and Jessie’s husband, NFL star Eric Decker (Tennessee Titans) guesses (correctly) the gender of Syd’s baby (it’s a girl!).
The father of Syd’s baby is her husband, MLB pitcher Anthony Bass. The 29-year-old pitcher from Trenton, Michigan played college baseball at Wayne State University before being drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 2008 MLB Draft. In 2013 he was traded to the Houston Astros. In 2014, he signed a minor league deal with the Texas Rangers. In 2015, he signed with the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters and led the team to win the 2016 Japan Series. In February 2017, Bass re-signed with the Texas Rangers.
