Kiersten Hatchcock is the founder of Mod Mom Furniture, a company she founded after leaving her corporate job to become a stay-at-home mom. She designs and sells cool toy boxes and other kids furniture on her website. In 2011, Hatchcock pitched Mod Mom Furniture on Shark Tank. After the Shark Tank episode aired, the deal fell through but Hatchcock landed another investor, partnered with a manufacturer in Ohio, and reportedly launched a licensing deal with Stanley Furniture which is based in North Carolina. In July 2017, Hatchcock shared on Facebook (see below) that she’s in between manufacturers which has prompted her to get back to building orders and “getting my hands dirty again.”
