On Basketball Wives, when the ladies are in Miami, Hazel introduces Jackie and Malaysia to her two friends Kijafa Vick and Jeniva Samuel who invite everyone to spend the night on a yacht. Hazel’s friends are the stars of the new VH1 show Baller Wives (which premieres on Monday, August 14, at 10pm). Kijafa and Jeniva met when their husbands played together in the NFL in Philadelphia. Kijafa Vick is the wife of former NFL quarterback Michael Vick.
Jeniva Samuel is married to cornerback Asante Samuel who played with the New England Patriots, Philadelphia Eagles, and Atlanta Falcons before retiring in 2013. The All-Pro Samuel won two Super Bowls. Asante is now launching a second career as a boxer which Jeniva does not like. When not on TV, Jeniva is running her ladies’ underwear and swim suit line, Jevina Nicole. Basketball Wives airs Mondays at 9pm on VH1.
