Hallmark Channel is spreading the holiday cheer early this year by airing its movie The Christmas Cure in July! The protagonist is a young doctor named Vanessa (Brooke Nevin) who comes home for the holidays to discover that her father, a fellow doctor, is retiring. While helping him out at his clinic, and after reconnecting with her high school boyfriend Mitch (Steve Byers), Vanessa considers staying.
Bruce is portrayed by Patrick Duffy. He is known for his roles on Dallas (Bobby Ewing — see link above), The Bold and the Beautiful (Stephen Logan), Step by Step (Frank Lambert) with Suzanne Somers, and Man from Atlantis (Mark Harris), among others. Fun fact: Duffy was born on St. Patrick’s Day. The Christmas Cure premieres on Hallmark Channel on July 15 at 9pm.
