In the Season 4 premiere episode of The Night Shift, ‘Recoil’, while Jordan (Jill Flint) and Drew (Brendan Fehr) risk their lives during a rescue by jumping from a chopper, Shannon (Tanaya Beatty) shows the new ER nurse Cain the ropes at San Antonio Memorial Hospital. But Cain’s indoctrination doesn’t go smoothly when he has a run-in with Kenny (JR Lemon).
The new ER nurse is portrayed by Mark Consuelos. He’s known for his roles on Riverdale (Hiram Lodge), Queen of the South (Teo Aljarafe), Pitch (GM Oscar Arguella), Kingdom (Chapas), Alpha House (Senator Andy Guzman), American Horror Story (Spivey), All My Children (Mateo Santos Sr.), Hope & Faith (Gary ‘The Gooch’ Gucharez), and 1-800-Missing (FBI Agent Antonio Cortez), among others. Consuelos is married to TV talk show host Kelly Ripa. The Night Shift airs Thursdays at 10pm on NBC.
