Every season of So You Think You Can Dance features a diverse group of dancers from different genres and Season 14 is no exception. In the season premiere episode, SYTYCD judges Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Vanessa Hudgens will be wowed by hip hop dancer Mark Villavera, modern dance Russian twins Anastasiia and Viktoriia, and ballroom dancers Kristina and Vasily.
For their audition, Kristina and Vasily perform to “Beethoven’s Silence” by Ernesto Cortazar. During the routine, Nigel comments on their “nice Samba rolls” and when the couple kisses during the dance, Nigel turns to the audience and says, “It’s okay everybody, they’re married.” Kristina and Vasily receive a standing ovation from all three SYTYCD judges. So You Think You Can Dance airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
