Isaiah Thomas scored 53 points in a Celtics Game 2 victory over the Washington Wizards, with 29 in the 4th quarter plus overtime, where it was all IT in OT. The burst marked the most points scored in an NBA playoff game in the last 14 years. And it had NBA greats past and present shouting out IT in the Twittersphere and beyond.
Let’s start with the understated Chris Bosh, who says it the best. Then comes Kobe Bryant, who gave Thomas the ultimate compliment saying he has the “Mamba Mentality“:

The only question we should be asking ourselves, is if @kobebryant will now officially denominate @Isaiah_Thomas as “The Mini Mamba”
— Matt Bonner (@mattbonner_15) May 3, 2017
Nope. He plays with #MambaMentality but he is now and forever will be known as the #MightyIT https://t.co/tWH8FEH9Lz
