Superstar singer/actress Jennifer Hudson famously didn’t win on the TV talent show American Idol — but that hasn’t stop JHud from making it in a big way and winning an Oscar (among other awards including a Grammy) on her journey so far. JHud is joining The Voice, Season 13, as a coach and with her TV talent show history she just might prove to be the most sympathetic coach in The Voice history.

During The Voice Live Finale, JHud will perform with her powerful pipes her latest hit, “Remember Me” which she co-wrote with Jamie Hartman (who wrote Rag ‘n’ Bone Man’s “Human”). It’s an emotional love song. Hudson sings about doing all that she could in a relationship — and that she’ll be ready when he comes around. The Voice Live Finale airs Tuesday, May 23 at 8pm on NBC.
