More than once during Season 12 of The Voice, coach Adam Levine compared guitarist/singer Jesse Larson to former Voice coach CeeLo Green (2011 to 2014). On the show, Adam has repeatedly referred to Jesse as “the white CeeLo Green.”

During The Voice Live Finale, CeeLo Green will return and perform with Jesse. Together they’ll sing the 1975 funk classic “Shining Star” by Earth, Wind & Fire. It was the funk band’s first major hit and it won them a Grammy for Best R&B Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals. The Voice Live Finale airs Tuesday, May 23 at 8pm on NBC.
