In the black-ish episode ‘Sister, Sister’, a very pregnant Bow (Tracee Ellis Ross) reconnects with her little sister Santamonica who’s in town filming her reality TV show. While everyone including her husband Dre (Anthony Anderson) thinks Santamonica is cool, Bow struggles to emotionally connect with her sister who seems more interested in taking selfies. Their brother Johan (Daveed Diggs, Hamilton) and mother Alicia (genius Anna Deavere Smith) show up too.
Santamonica is portrayed by Rashida Jones (Angie Tribeca, Parks and Recreation), who looks absolutely gorgeous in the role. Her signature long “greasy” straight bangs (see below) are softly brushed and curled to the side, she’s wearing makeup and revealing some cleavage as required of reality TV stars. black-ish airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
