In the mid-season premiere episode of Total Divas, everyone is anxious for the WWE draft including Nikki Bella who hopes to get cleared after her injury and neck surgery. Two days prior to the premiere episode airing, Jon Cena proposed to Nikki at Wrestlemania. Of course she said yes — she’s been hounding him for years.
The happily engaged couple went on the Today show where Al Roker asked Jon how long he had been planning to propose. Cena tells a story about how he proposed once before to Nicole – right before she went into the operating room for her surgery – while under anesthesia. That was a year-and-a-half ago; Nicole didn’t remember the conversation. Total Divas airs Wednesdays at 9pm on E!
