Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson, the former NFL wide receiver for the Cincinnati Bengals and New England Patriots, is on Marriage Boot Camp: Reality Stars: Family Edition with his mother Paula Johnson. According to Chad, his mother left him with his grandmother (her mother) when he was 5. Growing up, Chad didn’t know his father who was in prison for 23 years for selling drugs.
Before the premiere of the Boot Camp Family Edition, Chad was asked “What is the craziest thing you have ever done?” He replied, “Got married.” After a two-year engagement, he married Basketball Wives star Evelyn Lozada in July 2012. One month later, Johnson got into trouble for allegedly headbutting Lozada during an argument. Their divorce was finalized in September.
