The TV cop drama Training Day is based on the 2001 film starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke. On the CBS show, the rogue cop is Detective Frank Rourke (Bill Paxton) and the “good guy” rookie is Detective Kyle Craig (Justin Cornwell). Craig is married to schoolteacher Alyse (Lex Scott Davis), Rourke is dating Hollywood madam Holly Butler.
Holly Butler is portrayed by Julie Benz. She’s known for her roles on Hawaii Five-0 (Inspector Abby Dunn), Defiance (Mayor Amanda Rosewater), A Gifted Man (Christina Holt), No Ordinary Family (Stephanie Powell), Dexter (Rita Morgan), Desperate Housewives (Robin Gallagher), Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel (Darla), and Roswell (Kathleen Topolsky), among others. Training Day airs Thursdays at 10pm on CBS.
