In the Last Man Standing episode ‘The Friending Library’, while Vanessa (Nancy Travis) decides to open her own local lending library, a hooded, bearded man named Wayne wins a contest to appear with Mike (Tim Allen) on a vlog. The unibomer-esque look is intentional – Wayne believes Mike’s vlogs contain secret messages.
Wayne is portrayed by Brad Leland. He’s known for his roles on Veep (Bill O’Brien), Justified (Calhoun Schreier), Friday Night Lights (Buddy Garrity), and CSI: Miami (John “Sully” Sullivan), among others. Leland is also recognized for his roles in films including Deepwater Horizon (Kaluza) and The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (Big Rig Bob). Last Man Standing airs Fridays at 8pm on ABC.
