In the Modern Family episode ‘Sarge & Pea’, while Claire (Julie Bowen) and Mitch (Jesse Tyler Ferguson) try to keep their father Jay (Ed O’Neill) away from theri mother Dede (Shelley Long) at a wedding, Cam (Eric Stonestreet) misses a big part of Lily’s dance recital. He blames another parent (Lauren Bowles) and seeks revenge. At Alex’s coffee shop, Cam thinks he recognizes the culprit. Meanwhile, a man named Richard talks up Alex.
Richard is portrayed by David Hoffman. He’s known for his roles I Live with Models (Tommy), 2 Broke Girls (Gordon), and Quick Draw (Clay Tidwell), among others including Bones (see below). You might also recognized him as the doorman at the bridal shower in Bridesmaids. Modern Family airs Wednesdays at 9pm on ABC.
