In the Dr. Ken episode ‘Jae Meets the Parks’, while Damona (Tisha Campbell Martin) dresses the way she likes at Welltopia, Dr. Ken (Ken Jeong) learns that Molly’s (Krista Marie Yu) boyfriend Jae has given up his pre-med studies to become an artist.
Jae is portrayed by Justin Chon. He’s known for his role in the Twilight Saga movies as Eric. He’s is also the star of the independent film Gook, which he wrote and directed. Gook, which is about two Korean American brothers in Los Angeles who befriend an African American girl and try to defend their store on the day of the Rodney King verdict. It premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Dr. Ken airs Fridays at 8:30 pm on ABC.
