Actor Al Pacino, 76, has won numerous awards including an Academy Award (Scent of a Woman), two Tony Awards (Does a Tiger Wear a Necktie? and The Basic Training of Pavlo Hummel) and two Primetime Emmy Awards (You Don’t Know Jack, Angels in America) – in other words, the “triple crown of acting.” At the 39th annual Kennedy Center Honors event, he will be celebrated by the President of the United States. In addition to a glorious career, the method actor is also the father of three children. He never married. Al Pacino’s three children are:
Julie Marie Pacino (born 1989), his daughter with acting coach Jan Tarrant
Anton James and Olivia Rose Pacino (twins born in January 2001) with actress Beverly D’Angelo
The other four artists honored at the Kennedy Center are American singers Mavis Staples, James Taylor, rock band the Eagles, and Argentine pianist Martha Argerich. The Kennedy Center Honors celebration will air on Tuesday, December 27 at 9pm on CBS.
