Hillary Clinton gave her best interview yet chatting up Charlamagne Tha God and being serenaded by Stevie Wonder on the Breakfast Club on Power 105.1. The range of topics was wide, and the former Secretary of State brought her sense of humor along with comprehensive issue awareness. On the fun side, she discussed how she’s portrayed on Saturday Night Live and admitted her high-collar fashion sense may be inspired by Death Row Records! But she didn’t shy away from talking about “systemic racism” and other difficult issues.

One very interesting part was when Charlamagne Tha God said he was surprised how little is being made about how “historic” this election is, pointing out the obvious fact that the U.S. has never elected a woman president. “You are a woman,” Charlamagne said, “I feel like that’s not being celebrated enough. Seems like when Barack ran for president the narrative was ‘he’s a black man’,” Charlamagne said. He asked Clinton why less attention was being paid to her own glass ceiling breakthrough. “You know,” Clinton replied, “I’m not really sure.” That was about all she sounded unsure of.
