In the Code Black episode ‘Life and Limb’, while the doctors attend to a seriously injured soccer player and another patient who doesn’t tell them she’s transgender, Mario Salvetti (Benjamin Hollingsworth) gets a visit from his banged-up father Vince. He says he fell and can’t remember what happened. Mario hasn’t seen his opportunist father in two years. When Vince asks Mario for money and promises to pay him back, Mario replies, “You can’t pay me back for everything you owe me.”
Vince is portrayed by Eric Roberts. The Oscar-winning actor is known for his roles in the films The Dark Knight with Heath Ledger (Maroni), Runaway Train (Buck), The Pope of Greenwich Village (Paulie), Star 80 (Paul Snider), and on the TV series Suits (Charles Forstman), Heroes, Crash, and Less Than Perfect (Will Butler), among many others. Code Black airs Wednesdays at 10pm on CBS.
