It’s down to the Top 3 cooks on the MasterChef Season 7 finale. In the first half of the two-hour finale episode, the Top 3 – fifth grade teacher Brandi Mudd, DJ Shaun O’Neale and poker player David Williams face the challenge of creating a knock-your-socks-off appetizer in one hour. The second challenge requires the Top 3 to create an entrée and dessert in one hour. Hosts/chefs Gordon Ramsay and Christina Tosi will be joined by guest chefs Daniel Boulud and Wolfgang Puck who will help to decide who wins the $250,000 grand prize and book deal.
A favorite to win is Brandi Mudd. As she said super confidently during her most recent challenge, when making a hazelnut encrusted halibut, “These critics are going to know my name when they leave here tonight.” The MasterChef finale will air Wednesday, September 14 at 8pm on FOX.
