After comic flamethrower Andy Borowitz suggested that Donald Trump would boost his foreign policy cred by adding Sarah Palin and Ben Carson to the team, Donald Trump suggested something more Trumpish — literally.

Trump has faced questions during his campaign about his views and treatment of women. Asked in an interview with First Coast News in Florida about potential female cabinet members in a Trump administration, Trump stayed close to home, answering: “Well there are so many different ones to choose, I can tell you everybody would say — ‘Put Ivanka in! Put Ivanka in!‘.” It’s unclear who everybody is, but Trump always looks to the family first, whether for business (all his adult children work for the Trump Organization), politics, and even socially.* Ivanka Trump is 34. (She’ll be 35 when the next president takes office.) If appointed she would be the youngest cabinet member since Alexander Hamilton, who was 34. A Broadway musical would surely follow.
*Trump famously said of Ivanka: “[Ivanka] does have a very nice figure. I’ve said if Ivanka weren’t my daughter, perhaps I’d be dating her.”
