Rocker Meat Loaf (born Michael Lee Aday) was performing at the Northern Jubilee Auditorium in Edmonton, Cananda when he collapsed on stage. The 68-year-old was singing one of his most famous songs, “I Would Do Anything For Love (But I Won’t Do That)” from his Bat Out of Hell II album.
Several concertgoers are posting videos of Meatloaf’s collapse and reporting their observations. Trevor James told ET that Meatloaf “was a little coarse and he walked slowly and with a limp,” adding that the singer “seemed fine to me through the majority of the concert.” The audience was asked to evacuate. Just days before this performance, Meat Loaf cancelled his show at the Southern Alberta Jubilee Auditorium in Calgary “due to illness.”
