In the 2 Broke Girls episode “And the Ten Inches,” Max (Kat Dennings) and Caroline (Beth Behrs) are desperate to add extra square footage to their dessert bar so they approach the owner of the pizza place next door, Angie. One idea is to rent Angie’s back office space. But even that will take a lot of convincing. The girls try to charm Angie and her twin brother Angelo (Anthony Marciona) by agreeing to dress up and go to their high school reunion.
Angie is portrayed by Lisa Lampanelli. She’s a standup comedian known as “Comedy’s Lovable Queen of Mean.” She’s a regular at Comedy Central’s celebrity roasts (see Hulk Hogan‘s below). Lampanelli started her standup career at the age of 30. Unusual fact about Lampanelli: She’s got married twice, both on October 2 (in 1993, and 2010). She is currently divorced, but there’s an October 2nd every year. 2 Broke Girls airs Thursdays at 9:30pm on CBS.
