So You Think You Can Dance: The Next Generation features dancers between the ages of 8 and 13. One of them is Tate McRae, a 12-year-old from Calgary, Canada who will amaze the judges (including special judge/mentor Maddie Ziegler) and America with her incredible flexibility (see video below).
Tate McRae is currently a full-time student at the School of Alberta Ballet in the Professional Division. Like Maddie Ziegler, Tate is a Capezio-sponsored athlete and an aspiring actress. While Maddie landed her first big movie Moving Henry, Tate has been providing the voice of rag doll Spot Splatter Splash in the Nickelodeon Lalaloopsy animated TV show, movie and videos. P.S. Tate can sing too (see video below). So You Think You Can Dance airs Mondays at 8pm on FOX.
