Natural-born salesman Nate Holzapfel pitched his no-holes belt, the Mission Belt, on Shark Tank in 2013. Nate, a self-proclaimed hustler, got an investment from retail guru Daymond John. Three years later, Daymond is dishing out some tough love to Nate on Beyond on the Tank. While Mission Belts are still selling, Nate has “switched sides from hired gun to customer advocate.”

According to Nate’s LinkedIn account, Nate has gone into Professional Training & Coaching — and his new title is The Customer Expert. He’s been hired by small businesses and venture capital firms to teach them “The Nate State of Mind.” As The Customer Expert, Nate is training businesses to provide great customer service and teaching customers how to get great deals — he believes the future is a place where businesses and customers are on the same happy page. But Mission Belt? Daymond John has questions. Beyond the Tank airs Tuesdays at 10pm on ABC.
