Samantha Meis and Connor Riley are the founders of MistoBox, the coffee subscription service that delivers customized coffee beans to your doorstep or office. During Season 4 of Shark Tank (in 2013), they got an investment from Mark Cuban ($75,000). Cuban recently appeared with Meis and Riley on the TV talk show The View to talk about the business. Since Shark Tank, Meis and Riley faced some challenges. “With their backs against the wall, they’ve rebounded incredibly,” says Cuban.

Riley explains how they rebounded. The key was using customer feedback, which enabled MistoBox to make the subscription service even more personalized and affordable. MistoBox had $30,000 in sales their first year. Their second: $1.2 million. Their third year: $2.5 million. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC. [27 All-Time Favorite Shark Tank Products]
