On the docu-series Hotel Hell, celeb chef Gordon Ramsay visits Vienna Inn in Southbridge, Massachusetts. The petite inn (there are only five 2-room suites available) was modeled after an Austrian bed and breakfast. For the past 14 years, husband and wife Jonathan and Lisa Krach have been the owners. Lisa runs the inn while Jonathan cooks Austrian-Hungarian meals in the restaurant. Some of their employees and customers have accused them of being “unprofessional.”
While Ramsay does his best to rescue the interior of the inn, including moving Lisa’s clothing out of one of the guest rooms, there’s one major selling point that he overlooked or didn’t want to touch — the Vienna Inn’s website. Like Lisa’s clothing, the poorly designed website with fuzzy photos looks like “a garage sale in a closet.” The inn gets hammered for being dated. Take a look at the website.
