“Play like a kid, party like an adult” is one of the taglines of Camp No Counselors, a sleep-away camp exclusively for adults. Campers enjoy a three-night weekend filled with land and water sports, arts and crafts, s’mores, a talent show – everything a traditional kid camp has to offer but with gourmet food and an open bar. The founder of Camp No Counselors, Adam Tichauer, will pitch the business on Shark Tank.
Camp No Counselors is offered in 10 cities including Austin, Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, Nashville, New York, San Francisco, and Toronto. Sales must be good because they’re extending the brand to offer a “Real” Adult Camp in San Francisco. “Real” adults means you won’t compete against any millennials during water polo — it’s for those aged 45 and up. To register for Camp No Counselors’ Labor Day weekend, it’ll cost between $550 to $626 a person. Shark Tank airs Fridays at 9pm on ABC.
